The Cedron Creek Campgrounds are some of the best campgrounds on the lake. These campgrounds are open from April 1 to September 30th each year. Cedron Creek Park is located on east side of Lake Whitney. The campgrounds are on a nice point that extends out onto Lake Whitney. These campgrounds are on a nice little hill or bluff that overlooks the lake. And there are plenty of trees for shade within this park.

This is an excellent park, the best on Lake Whitney, for shore fishing.  The park is situated on Camp Creek an excellent fishing area and the banks are clean and easily accessible.  It has some great bass and white bass fishing in this area as well as catfish.

There are 65 campsites available in this campground and they all can be used for RV camping or tent camping. The campsites have 30 watt electric hookups and water. These spaces also come with picnic tables and fire rings. This really is a very nice campground.

Slide Show:

There are two restrooms with showers. There are also two playgrounds that kids can play on. There is a very nice two-lane boat ramp with boat dock.
