Kimball Bend Campgrounds

The Kimball Bend Campgrounds are located on the north end of Lake Whitney on the river part of lake. This campground is a small, but beautiful campground with campsites right along the lake.

There are 34 campsites within Kimball Bend Park. These campsites are available for either tent camping or RV camping. The sites include both water and 50 watt electric hookups. Each site also has a picnic table and a fire ring. There are trees in the park providing some shade from the summer sun.

If you are looking for a beautiful campground on the north end of Lake Whitney, this is a great spot to camp. Great bank fishing is available from the park. The boat ramp here a very nice two lane boat ramp.

Kimball Bend Park is located right off of Highway 174. The park is easy to find as it is directly off of a main road. You can find right off of the bridge that crosses over Lake Whitney and the main Brazos River channel.
