We heard from William Roberts about the Granbury Bass Club Aquilla Tournament on Aquilla March 14th and 15th. Here is his summary:
Aquilla was tough on us this past weekend. Saturday the weather didn’t cooperate and only 4 fish were weighed. Those who came back Sunday were blessed with nice weather but the fishing was still tough. Tournament winner Tim Krentz got the only 5 fish limit on Sunday for 9.9lbs. Pictured is Jeff Weatherly who took big bass honors with this 6lb hang. This was the only fish he weighed all weekend. I had 1 keeper on Sunday for 1.3lbs. The only other fish I boated was 13 inches. Weekend stats 13 anglers weighed 11 fish.
